The Course specifically aims at providing graduates with advanced scientific knowledge in the field of high level sport activities and fitness studies. During the course, students will acquire the needed knowledge and competences to obtain the optimisation of physiological and technical performances of athletes, aiming at obtain better competitive performances through advanced training techniques. These objectives will be achieved through frontal teaching and laboratory and field practical activities. A particular attention is paid to athlete’s evaluation and to the planning and implementation of basic and applied scientific research. Frontal teaching will be integrated by seminars held by technicians from different sport federations and by interviews with top athletes. Technical-practical field demonstrations an individual practice will be provided too, through advanced performance analysis tools. Individual competences will be assessed through the compilation of bibliographies and the writing of original papers bout the studied subjects and techniques, as well as through stages within sport teams and facilities qualified in the various sport areas. Final examination consists of an experimental dissertation on a topic related to the educational programme
Kinesiologist, Coach, athletic and physical trainer In: Public and private facilities in the field of social sport, competitive sport and sport for disabled people, such as: gyms, swimming pools, sport facilities, polyvalent sport centres, armed forces training centres, sport facilities hosting activities regulated by national sport federations or by sport promotion agencies acknowledged by the Italian Olympic Committee.
The final examination consists of the discussion of an experimental dissertation related to the specific and qualifying educational objectives of the course.
